The grapes were harvested in the last days of September. The must was fermented and macerated post fermentatively for two months. A period of maturation in Romanian oak barrels followed for six months.
The color is intense ruby red with purple highlights. Predominant aromas of black fruit and prunes with a round, mineral taste. Moderate and aftertaste of spices and plums.
Duck meat, pork chops, veal without sauces, pasta with tomato sauce, matured cheeses.
